A Gothic XXXmas
I was thinking about an alternative to the christmas lights and festive songs... how about some gothic doom and gloom! My model Little Woo was thinking the same thing...

The art monkeys were busy scribbling and scratching, when suddenly santa arrived! Ho Ho Holy 40 of whiskey and where are your pants!
We had an amazing session, and with Little Woo's poses, it was a gothic good time.

Our first Dr Sketchy's was a big hit, with 30 artists arriving to draw the lovely Melody Mangler, from Screaming Chicken Burlesque. Shary Contrary dominated the group, ordering poses and drinks, and cracking the whip for faster, more curvaceous drawings. Melody bled all over the floor, and the gore was a delicious feast for our notepads.

Dr Sketchy's is what happens when a simple question is asked- why can't figure drawing be sexy?
Part art class, part cabaret, join us for 3 hours of drinking, drawing and decadence! You bring your pencils and paper and we’ll bring you the most beautiful, bizarre and outrageous models for your sketching delectation! Think burlesque dancers, drag kings and queens, circus performers and we let you draw them for a whole three hours!
There will also be musical interludes and the chance to take part in ridiculous drawing contests (best left handed drawing? Best incorporation of a woodland animal?) where you can win booze or prizes.
Come out and celebrate Day of the Dead with us on November 2 at the Jupiter Lounge. Class starts at 7!
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at
